Version 2.0 of myQuilts ShowCase delivers another reporting capability to your ShowCase. You are now able to generate a PDF report of your entire ShowCase, including the main photo for each entry within your ShowCase. We enjoy delivering new capabilities to your ShowCase and want you to know we are currently planning additional features so stay tuned for more!
Now that you have built a large ShowCase containing all of your quilts on your iPhone, you may be thinking it would be great to be able to create a report of your entire ShowCase. Well we have good news for you because Version 1.9 of myQuilts ShowCase will allow you to do just that. You can generate a report of your entire ShowCase that you can view or send via email directly from your iPhone. The report will be created in a .CSV file format which many applications such as Excel and Access can read easily and then allow you to modify the report further if so desired.
To begin the process of generating your ShowCase report, tap the "Info" tab, tap "Feedback, Support & Report" and then tap "Generate ShowCase Report". Next you decide which attribute(s) of your ShowCase you want included in your report by enabling or disabling the appropriate attribute(s). Once you have completed your attribute selection, tap the "Generate Report" button and a ShowCase report is immediately created and stored on your iPhone. The newly generated report is then displayed in your Report list within the same window.
The creation date and time and size of your report will be shown in the Report list and by tapping on the report, a preview of your report will be displayed. You then have the option to display the complete report by using an appropriate App on your iPhone; myQuilts will determine if one exists. The other option you have is to email the report to a specified address. Reports can be deleted by using the swiping action on the report you wish to delete.
We feel very confident that this latest feature will add much value to how you use myQuilts in sharing and viewing your entire ShowCase. Awesome!
Version 1.6 of myQuilts ShowCase now provides the ability for you to add additional photos to your quilt entry. The addition of this new feature is a result of feedback received from many of our myQuilts users who have requested the ability to support multiple photos to capture features such as quilt close-ups, quilting details, backing and close-ups of particular fabrics or blocks. This new feature will certainly provide a greater ability for truly showcasing your complete inventory of quilts. We have also enhanced the email capability where not only is the main quilt photo attached, but all of the additional photos will be included as attachments. We hope you will like this added feature as you send emails to your friends and family. Pretty Cool!
Another user brought to our attention a keyboard issue when entering quilt comments. With this latest release, we are happy to report that this discrepancy has been corrected and you will now have full access to editing your quilt comments without the device virtual keyboard obstructing full access to the comments section.
One last announcement for the enhancements of this latest release. We have included a fifth tab at the bottom of the tab bar labeled "Help". Behind this tab is a list of how to features with step by step instructions for navigating through your myQuilts App. This new feature will assist those users who have basic questions for navigating the App.
We always are happy to hear from you, so keep sending your comments and suggestions.
Version 1.5 of myQuilts ShowCase now has a new feature allowing you to search your quilt showcase by Name, Description, Completion Time, Category, Materials or Comments. With this new search feature and its capability to search across all of the above fields at the same time, you simply enter the text you are searching for and myQuilts ShowCase will return a list of quilts which match the search criteria you entered. Looking for a quilt which is associated to a specific Category, just start typing the Category name in the search window and as you type, the results will display all the quilts that match. Want to narrow down your search results even more, keep entering text and the results will continue to be updated as you type.
The larger your showcase becomes, the more benefit you will find in our new search capability. Put an end to lengthy scrolling to locate specific quilts to view or modify by searching to zero in on a selected list of quilts to perform your desired activities.
That's not all, we've also added another modification to the Categories Add & Delete feature. A new pop-up window will now display the name of all the quilts in a folder when you tap on the info icon when it is displayed. We think this is neat when you are looking for a quick snapshot of your quilts and the Category they are associated with.
Pretty awesome! Let us know what you think.
Version 1.4 of myQuilts ShowCase has been improved with a totally new look and feel. Thanks to the suggestion from a satisfied user, we have included the capability to add and name your own categories and delete the ones you don't want to use. This version also contains a new Feedback and Support section which allows you to connect to Facebook and Twitter and other methods to contact us.
Version 1.3 of myQuilts ShowCase now provides the ability to display all your quilt photos via a built-in photo viewer. Selecting the "myQuilts Photos" button at the bottom of the Tab Bar will display every photo in your ShowCase as thumb size images. You can then tap on any photo which will launch the myQuilts ShowCase Photo Viewer and allow you to swipe through all the photos or use the navigation arrows at the bottom of the screen. To zoom in on any photo, simply double tap the photo. Double tapping on the zoomed photo will resume the viewing of all your photos.
